I'm heading off tomorrow to Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, Canada, for a friend's wedding.
It's going to be a bit of a whirlwind....work in the morning, head to the airport for a flight from London - Toronto - Halifax (the trains are going on strike tomorrow so I have no idea how/if it will affect air travel), arrive in Halifax and stay overnight, drive across Nova Scotia to reach Tatamagouche, wedding Saturday evening, stay overnight at the Train Station Inn, get up early and drive back across Nova Scotia, fly home from Halifax - Montreal - London on Sunday morning.
Whew...I'm tired just writing that!
The Train Station Inn is a really neat place to stay....these are our accommodations:
Check out their link, and read the story...the innkeeper was only 18 when he bought the defunct train station, and has turned it into a very successful business! Great job!
The other really nice thing is that I made the bride's jewellery, and also for myself and one of the bridesmaids...it's so nice to contribute to a happy day in some small way.
I'm very excited....it's sure to be a great time!

Digital Scrapbooking....how fun is this????
Well, those of you who know me, know I do not need another hobby/addiction/compulsion...but I have to admit that I'm just a bit "over the top" since I've discovered digital scrapbooking.
Now of course, this is only new to ME....(I tend to be a bit slow picking up on new trends, LOL).
I've done some family photos....but I want to show you some pages I've made for my lampwork beads.
Both of these are currently available for purchase in my Etsy shop.
